Our services
Once the court has awarded a Pension Credit, the pension scheme involved often wants the credit to be transferred out rather than remaining within their scheme. This means that you have to let them know where you would like your credit to be transferred.
We can recommend a new pension policy to accept your Pension Credit and set it up, or deal with the admin involved in transferring it into an existing scheme in your name.
In order to do this, we will need to speak to you to get information on your personal financial circumstances and your attitude to investment risk, as well as contacting the transferring scheme to get the details of your Pension Credit. You will also have to provide us with a copy of your Pension Sharing Order. When we have collected all the required information, we will produce a Pension Report detailing our recommendations.
We can either be paid by a fee or by commission, or by a combination of the two. In most cases, if setting up a new policy the commission payments would cover our costs, or a fee could be deducted from the transfer value itself, so the work could be done without any further fee being payable.
